Installation of the BloApCo Model 3B Trim cutter in your present pneumatic system is an easy and quick solution to your scrap handling problem. Ribbon trim from converting machines is more easily disposed of when cut into short lengths by the BloApCo Trim Cutter. Cut trim requires less storage space and can be conveniently baled or repulped.
Two cuts per revolution are accompanied by two rotating Hi-Speed steel blades and one stationary blade. Blades are independently adjustable and easily removed for sharpening. Paper and boxboard trim up to 3" wide can be handled by the Model 3B Trim Cutter. Several ribbons of trim can be handled by one cutter.
Connections of the Trim Cutter are convenient -- inlet side of cutter to trim hood and outlet side to exhaust fan line. Electric motors from 1/2 to 1 HP, depending on weight, type of trim and web speed, are suitable for the Model 3B Trim Cutter. A BloApCo Trim Handling Fan or your present fan will provide the air flow to pick up and convey trim. The Model 3B is designed to pass 1000 CFM of air at a loss of 1.5 inches of water under average conditions.
