Large capacity -- can shred several thousand pounds of cores per hour, depending upon wall thickness.
Less noise -- the high torque, low speed operation combined with pierce-and-tear shredding make BloApCo the quietest shredder available with an operating level below 80 dB. The shredder can be conveniently located anywhere in the manufacturing area.
Less dust -- slow speed pierce-and-tear shredding produces virtually no dust. Any that is produced is contained within the shredder and discharge power auger housing which is then deposited into the baler or compactor.
No dismantling required -- replacement of individual ripper wheels or their steel inserts is accomplished without machine dismantling.
Safety engineered -- worker protection is provided with a safety switch around the complete inlet lip. The shredder outlet and power auger conveyor are fully enshrouded.
Controls are in a NEMA 12 enclosure, prewired to the shredder and power auger conveyor for ease of installation.
Designed to efficiently and economically shred paper cores from 3" (76.2 mm) to 12" (305 mm) I.D. x 3/8" (9.525 mm) to 5/8" (15.875 mm) wall x varying lengths. It creates a baleable scrap product...reducing landfill problems and costs.
