Special fan wheels manufactured from 304 or 316 stainless steel, can
be provided for special applications. Wheels can be hard faced if required.
Fan housing would be altered to match changes in fan wheel. For more

075 lbs/cubic ft.; 70 degrees F at sea level. Therefore, when operating
at elevations and temperatures other than these, adjustments to the
fan performance curves must be made. Be sure that you tell us the elevation
of the plant and the near temperature -- especially for the system for
plants 1,000 ft. above sea level. At higher elevations more CFM of air
is required to keep the same weight of air flowing in the system. To
maintain the same velocity pressure in the air stream it is necessary
to have the air flowing at greater velocity. At higher elevations it
may also be necessary to use large ducts to accommodate the greater
volume of air without going to excessive velocities and their resultant
pressure losses.
