• NEOR: Upgraded from HCHC, used for mildly abrasive materials such as paper, coated paper, laminates, loaded vinyl, and non-ferrous metals.
• Carbide Edge: Insert of carbide super alloy for extreme applications with highly abrasive and/or extremely thin materials, glass filaments and thin films.
• Serrated (Specialty): Primarily used on corrugated or fiberboard materials and demanding applications with high cutting power at a given horsepower.

Unlike other competing shredders, BloApCo does not use blades, knives, or machined metal that must be kept sharp or frequently replaced.

BloApCo’s patented Pierce-and-Tear effect pulls material into the shredders and tears it apart. This waste reduction action uses ripper wheels to shred at high throughput/high torque/low RPM, outperforming hammering, grinding, and cutting/crushing.

BloApCo’s ripper wheels are durable single-piece ductile iron castings. Each wheel consists of two halves, each with an interlocking tab that forms a spiral pattern with adjacent wheels. Some ripper wheels feature sharp metal pins to enhance the pinching action and overall shredding performance.

It is recommended that the integrity and condition of the ripper wheels be ensured. Worn or damaged ripper wheels can impact the reduction action and result in undesirable performance.  Ripper wheels can be easily replaced and are an inexpensive MRO activity with a high-yield ROI (Return On Investment).
